Domestic Gas Engineer

The Company

We’re a Family run business Established in 1971 (just over 50 years). We supply a whole range of domestic appliances and carry out a variety of work on domestic gas installations and domestic gas appliances. We require a Domestic Gas Engineer to join our growing company.

Appliance World are Gas Safe registered and an approved Which? Trusted trader.

Role involves:

The Domestic Gas Engineer will be responsible for boiler inspections, servicing and Landlord gas safety checks.

Candidates will require the following for the Domestic Gas Engineer role:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • ACS qualifications: CCN1, CKR1, CPA1, CENWAT & HTR1

Salary: Circa £35,000.00 per year

Inbound Sales Executive

About the role

Making customers happy is at the heart of everything we do. As an Inbound Sales Executive, you’ll play a big part in keeping our customers content and their purchases protected.

Here's what you can expect to be doing

Our customers love how easy it is to place an order with us, knowing that they’re buying world-class white goods. Some people shop online, others prefer to do it over the phone. And we want to do everything we can to make sure they’re protected just in case something goes wrong. You’ll be taking inbound calls from customers to support them through the buying process and offering our value-added services as part of the conversation.

We want to leave a lasting impression on everyone who shops with us, so you’ll quickly build connections and take a personal approach to understanding their needs. Nobody likes a pushy salesperson, so take a consultative approach with our customers. We trust you, and your experience, to get the best results.

A few things about you

We’ll give you all the training you need to get up to speed with our products. But you should have…

  • Previous experience working in a target driven sales role, where you deal with customers over the phone
  • A preference for taking a consultative approach to sales, led by integrity
  • A desire to hit your goals, inside and away from work
  • The ability to keep your chin up in the face of adversity, and can turn past failings into lessons for success
