Although we had to wait nearly 5 months for delivery due to Hotpoint terrible supply network rather than there advertised delivery times Appliance world kept us updated and delivered as soon as they received the appliance at their depot
The cooker we bought to replace a Canon cooker of the same size and specification had much better features than this one replacing the Canon cooker. The glass folding lid on this cooker is in clear glass and not black as the Canon and the lid rests on top of the burners whereas the Canon it replaces had flush burner cocer and the lid closed flat without leaving and inch gap under the lid around the cooker top. The oven and grill shelves are of a lighter gauge than the Canon cooker offering a lesser strength. The cooker overall seems quite sturdy but I feel that the quality of my previous Canon has been lost but as it still provided the features I require hence that is why I chose this replacement model and hope it will last the next 18 years same as our Canon model which this replaces.
